A personal note from our Pastor
While Song of Joy Foursquare existed only in the heart of God, He placed a strong love in
my and my wife's hearts for the nation and people of Israel. As time passed this love
grew into a conviction that God has not changed His mind about the gospel being
"for the Jew first." This conviction grew until it demanded that
we take personal action to share the Gospel. The action the Lord laid on
our hearts was to financially support ministries God had blessed with that
responsibility. We have been faithful to do that and to encourage others
to do likewise.
Now the Lord has laid it upon our hearts, and given us the faith to believe it
will happen, to travel to Israel in 2007. We have not yet had the
privilege of visiting "the land" but we feel in our spirits that we
are being "called home" for a visit. Since Song of Joy
Foursquare is a small congregation, my wife and I are bi-vocational and do not
personally have the funds necessary to finance the trip (approximately
$6,000). Perhaps the Lord will lay it on your heart to assist us
financially in answering this call of God. A fund has been established for
this purpose if you would care to help. Donations of any amount will be
appreciated and receipted. Make checks payable to Song of Joy Foursquare
with "Israel 2007" in the memo box. We regret we are unable to
process credit card or on-line donations at this time.

Israel July 19 and return July 29. Please be praying for us as we walk where
He walked, pray where He prayed, eat where He ate and experience the wonderful
grace of God in His land and in His city!
