(sent to the Common Guy by readers)
Let me start with my own wishes for the year to come.
First and foremost, I wish for a happy, healthy, and prosperous year for my family and me.
I wish for continued success for The Common Guy's Film Reviews in 2004.
I wish for peace and harmony in the world and the eventual safe return of all our troops from foreign lands after their brave service to our country.
I wish for more good movies to be released earlier in a calendar year and not only in November and December.
I wish for everyone to just have some fun at the movies whether with a summer blockbuster action film, a great romantic comedy, a special art film, or a gut busting comedy.
Now I'd like to share some of the wishes of the readers of the Common Guy's Film Reviews website. Enjoy, Merry Christmas, and Happy 2004.
For the second year now, I have run a contest to give prizes away for readers who agree to share their wishes with everyone. Read on below for the wishes of some great people who were willing to share with all of us.
“I wish that everyone who has lost someone the love, especially the families of those lost on Sept 11, 2001, are able to find some peace knowing that the people we love are always with us, especially at the holidays.”

“My Christmas wish is for my family and I to get thru this whole year without someone robbing us or stealing something of ours. Our house has been burglarized twice in a year and a half(2 different houses and we are now in the third since someone broke in 2 weeks ago). My car has been broken into and my bank account breached. I want the sign that says "please come take everything we own" removed from my back so I can enjoy life and teach my children to enjoy life without feeling the need to stay home and watch my belongings...”
Amy H. from Iowa Park, TX
