I know, I know a lot of people expect this to be a negative review just because of the title characters. But I have a confession to make. I like Beavis and Butthead. Let's face it, we all know someone from highschool days that fits these two to perfection. That out of the way, let's take a look at this film.

Beavis and Butthead have had their TV stolen and set out on a quest to find it, even if it takes them across America. And that's where they have to go, all the way to Washington D.C. with interim stops in Las Vegas, the Hoover Dam, the Grand Canyon, and other sights.

Sure the humor in this film as well as in any of their television shows is of a juvenile nature. That is what makes it fun! Not only was it fun but the characters in the movies with voices by Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and Robert Stack added a great dimension to this movie. No, watching this film will not increase your knowledge in any way shape or form. But this film should make you laugh if you let it.

While Robert Stack's character makes constant comments about the genius criminal masterminds of Beavis and Butthead (huh huh huh). We are treated to a wild plane ride, the adolescents view of what is cool in Las Vegas, causing a massive traffic accident, the museum of Petrified Wood, and Washington D.C.. In Washington we even get to see Bill and Chelsea Clinton and Bill is so impressed with the boys and who they are. To me this was a fun movie, but it won't be the same for everyone.

Grade: B+

Parents Guide: Ok here is the tricky part. This film is definitely geared towards the adolescent male audiences but it may not be appropriate for all of them. What this film does contain is a lot of sexual references but it doesn't contain nudity. The language is interesting as there are no real swear words in it, but the characters do talk in a tone that may not be acceptable to all. There is also some violence in it, but not a great deal more than any cartoon would have. If you do not like Beavis and Butthead do not let your children see this film as it is not a whole lot different than the TV show. I would recommend that if I had a child to make a decision on, it would be if they were over about 12ish. Most of the stuff in the film goes on among kids of that age at school anyway.
